Iraq is one of the largest oil exporting countries in the world. Oil price changes determine government revenue earning and spending level, inflation rate, unemployment level which, in turn, determines the growth of the Iraqi economy.  Problem Statement: a decrease in oil price is beneficial to oil-importing country rather than oil exporting country like Iraq.  Significance of the study: The significance of the study comes from estimate how the changes (increase or decrease) in the price of this oil will have impacted on economic growth of Iraq. Objective: The purpose of this paper is to identify the impacts of oil price on economic growth of Iraq. Methodology: To achieve this objective (of fulfilling its full potential), the present paper adopts OLS approach, and the secondary data was used for the period of 2000-2015 and multiple regression with its assumption were used in order to analyse data.  Findings, oil price and oil export are very important determinates of economic growth in Iraq because the p-value of those were less than the common alpha α =0.05. For instance, for each unit increasing of oil price, the economic growth will increase by 36.9% after holding all other variable constant. However, we find that exchange variable has no impact on the participations of increasing the economic growth because of having corruption in public banks in Iraq. Keywords: Oil Price, Economic growth, Economic Analysis, OLS Approach, Iraq

This study was conducted for verifying the effect of liver worm sickness (Fascioliasis) on the general health of the animal, The hematocrits levels, (RBCs) count, Haemoglobin concentration ( Hb ) and packed cell volume (PCV) were also determined in the two groups of beef infected and non-infected with Fascioliasis the inflammatory parameter in liver :glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (GOT) and glutamate pyruvate transaminase( GPT) were determined in the beef with moderate Fascioliasis and The results of this study were compared between infected animals and non-infected animals. A few have been taken oxidative stress: Superoxide Dismutase (SOD), Glutathione (GSH), Malondialdehyde (MDA) and catalase enzyme (CAT). In both groups, there were some significant contrasts in the levels of GSH, MDA, SOD, CAT and GOT, GPT. For CAT there was a significantly accelerated in its levels in the infected beef in comparison with the non-infection beef. While GSH and MDA there was a decrease in the level of GSH and an accelerated in the level of MDA in compared to non-infected beef respectively. SOD activity was decreased in blood serum of infected beef comparison with non-infected. The findings showed the beef infected with F. spp. were under oxidative stress. In inflammatory parameters were some significant differences in the levels of (GOT, GPT), its showed accelerated in levels with infected animals and normally in non-infected animals. This research reinforces that animals infected with trematodes, which may have effects on the overall health of animals, will be under oxidative stress and inflammation

As he cultivates agricultural land, the farmer plays a crucial role in agricultural tourism. Farmers with less innovativeness do not contribute to the nation's economic prosperity. Agriculture tourism in Iraq is not as advanced as in affluent countries. This study investigates the factors influencing farmers' participation in developing agricultural tourism in Iraq. This study is based on a previously unexplored gap in the literature because no previous research has investigated this gap. This study included secondary data and a Likert scale questionnaire for empirical proof. Participants in this study were Iraqi farmers. In this regard, the findings of this study are an addition to the literature and the body of knowledge since they reveal that the factors of farmers' actions have a substantial impact on agriculture tourism in Iraq. The study also has significant practical implications for enhancing Iraq's tourism industry for economic growth. Moreover, the theoretical ramifications of this study have contributed to the advancement of knowledge. The future directions of this research are essential for future agricultural tourism research.Amenah Muayad Abdullah (College of Education/ College of education/ Al-Farahidi University /Baghdad/ Iraq), Mustafa obay Saeed (Department of Law, AlNoor University College, Bartella, Iraq), Zainab abed Almoussawi (College of Islamic Science /Ahl Al Bayt University /Kerbala / Iraq), Hassan Taher Braiber (Accounting Department, Al-Mustaqbal University College, Babylon, Iraq), Ihsan Ali Mubarak (The University of Mashreq/ Baghdad/ Iraq), Jenan Ali Hammoode (Accounting and Economics/ Al-Esraa University College, Baghdad, Iraq)Includes bibliographical references

PUMA: Policy-Based Unified Multi-radio Architecture for Agile Mesh Networking

    Get PDF
This paper presents the design and implementation of PUMA, a declarative constraint-solving platform for policy-based routing and channel selection in multi-radio wireless mesh networks. In PUMA, users formulate channel selection policies as optimization goals and constraints that are concisely declared using the PawLog declarative language. To efficiently execute PawLog programs in a distributed setting, PUMA integrates a high performance constraint solver with a declarative networking engine. We demonstrate the capabilities of PUMA in defining distributed protocols that cross-optimize across channel selection and routing. We have developed a prototype of the PUMA system that we extensively evaluated in simulations and on the ORBIT testbed. Our experimental results demonstrate that PUMA can flexibly and efficiently implement a variety of centralized and distributed channel selection protocols that result in significantly higher throughput compared to single channel and identical channel assignment solutions
